The Housekeeping Sheets Report prints all of the Housekeeping information by rooms for the day, including if sheet changes are required and if any soft check-ins are pending. The report can also include in-house or/and arriving guest names and occupancy levels, and any comments associated with the stay if wished. These sheets may be printed out and handed out to the housekeeping staff by section or by floor, or kept as a record for future reference.
Select Housekeeping Sheets Report from the Housekeeping Menu.
Depending on your Skyware Systems set-up, you may or may not have a quick menu option for Housekeeping.
If you can, Select Housekeeping => from the Quick Menu on the left side of the screen, to open the Housekeeping Menu screen.
Or you can reach the Housekeeping Menu using the Full Menu.
Click the icon on the left for the Full menu.
This will display the Full menu in a tabular form, with four sections, Registration, Status, Cashier and Other.
From the Other Section, select Housekeeping =>.
The Housekeeping Menu screen will open when accessed.
The Housekeeping Menu has two sections, Housekeeping Menu 1 and Housekeeping Menu 2. Housekeeping Sheets Report is in Housekeeping Menu 1.
When accessed the Housekeeping Sheets Report screen will open.
Select the options you want for the report. You can choose one, more, or all options to display additional information. By default, no options are selected.
These include:
Print In-House Guest Names: Selecting this option means the report will show the name of the in-house guest on the report (below the room number), as well as both how many nights are left in the stay and how many nights the guest has stayed so far; and the occupancy (number of adult, youths, children and pets) in the room.
Print Arrival Names: Selecting this option means the report will show the name of the guest due to arrive today on the report (below the room number), and the expected occupancy (number of adult, youths, children and pets) in the room.
Separate Page by Floor: This option allows the report be generated by floor rather than separated by section.
Print Comments?: This option allows any comments associated with the stay to be shown on the report (In-House and/or Arrival Names must also be selected to include this option).
Sort by Room # instead of Rack Order: (By default the report will be sorted by Rack Order).
When you have finished selecting your options, click the button Print Housekeeping Sheets.
The report is shown by default by Section, with columns showing the floor followed by the room number, Blk (if the room is part of a block), the room type, the current occupancy of the room, the condition of the room, if a sheet change is required (marked with a Y if so), Credit (housekeeping credit for the room), Arrival and Departure dates, and a last column shows if there is a pending Soft Check-In (again marked with a Y if so).
Each section of the report ends with a Section Recap, a summary of the total number of rooms vacant, occupied, not for sale and out of order, and a summary of the state of the rooms (inspected, clean, pickup and dirty).
By default, the report is generated in PDF form and opens in a separate browser window. From there you can select to save or print the report, among other options. You can, instead, check the Generate report to excel checkbox to generate the report in HTML for downloading to excel instead of PDF.
